Swiss Volunteers extends cooperation with the gas industry
Since the launch of Swiss Volunteers in 2010, the Swiss Gas Industry Association (VSG) has supported the non-profit organisation Swiss Volunteers as a partner. In March 2019, VSG will introduce the new gazenergie brand and at the same time extend the existing sponsorship agreement. The continued partnership is also reflected in the new Swiss Volunteers logo.
"Without volunteers, no event could be held. Swiss Volunteers offers concrete support to the organisers and at the same time makes volunteering more attractive, in the future also for events in the cultural sector," Markus Solinger, Head of Marketing at VSG, is pleased to say. Swiss Volunteers is also happy to be able to continue the existing partnership. Gazenergie replaces the former natural gas brand, no longer representing a single gas product, but gas (natural gas, biogas and other renewable gases) and its infrastructure. The Swiss gas network is an important pillar of our society's energy supply. Swiss Volunteers is characterised by a network of around 50,000 registered volunteers throughout Switzerland, who support around 100 events per year. This makes the non-profit organisation an important partner in the field of volunteering for many event organisers in Switzerland.
With the change to the new gazenergie brand, Swiss Volunteers is also making a visual change. The future logo will shine in colourful shades of green and underline the partnership for the coming years in a new composition. A long-term cooperation that Swiss Volunteers is looking forward to with full confidence.
