"Volunteer of the year" award ceremony at STS Eventforum
On the 17th of October 2018, the award for the "Volunteer of the Year" was presented at the STS Event Forum in Magglingen. Of the three final candidates, Donato Schneebeli was chosen by the jury as the lucky winner of the award.
Donato Schneebeli was visibly delighted to receive the award at the STS Event Forum in front of invited guests from the world of sport and media. According to Schneebeli, the award winner has done almost 3,000 hours of voluntary work in recent years and many more are to follow. Around 50,000 volunteers are registered on the Swiss Volunteers platform and their work enables the smooth running of around 100 events in Switzerland, including, for example, the international Lauberhorn races, which received the "Swissness Award" on the same evening. The Swiss Volunteers association has been supported by Erdgas for many years.
