Swiss Volunteers promotes public-spirited exchange and unites people in a useful activity for society. We support event organisers in carrying out their events by using synergies in voluntary work. We are committed to the sustainable promotion and appreciation of voluntary work and we raise public awareness of its importance.

More than 100 sporting and cultural events a year throughout Switzerland have benefited from the range of services offered by Swiss Volunteers over the last 15 years. We will be pleased to support you with your event too.

The new Swiss Volunteers platform launched in 2020 enables you to handle the administration for your helpers in a complete and centralised way.

The web-based platform offers event organisers a fast and intuitive overview of the missions of their volunteers. Thanks to Swiss Volunteers, you can display and coordinate your complete organisation in one place. Besides the existing volunteers, further helpers can be won over to the event from the Swiss Volunteers pool of helpers by means of a simple registration process. The platform facilitates a fast and time-saving assignment of tasks. In addition, Swiss Volunteers offers event organisers the potential to communicate with the volunteers directly by e-mail and SMS (optional) via the platform. From the simple registration and efficient implementation of the event through to the straightforward closing of the event thanks to the Swiss Volunteers platform!

Communication with the volunteers before, during and after the event is very important for the volunteers’ commitment to your event. Swiss Volunteers gives you the potential to communicate directly with the volunteers by e-mail or, alternatively, by SMS via the platform.

Once your event has been set up on the platform, it is automatically presented in an attractive way on the Swiss Volunteers website. In addition, Swiss Volunteers sends out a volunteer newsletter once a month in the German, French and Italian languages. This provides information on the forthcoming events. The editorial control for this always lies with Swiss Volunteers. Furthermore, Swiss Volunteers supports events, as may be required, via its social media.

Tens of thousands of volunteers are registered on the Swiss Volunteers platform and carry out around 300,000 hours of voluntary work at more than 100 events a year. They are not alone in that: every year, hundreds of thousands of people help out on a voluntary basis in Switzerland, whether in the non-profit organisation, for social projects or at events.

Swiss Volunteers supports and works for the appreciation and recognition of its volunteers. Thus, we show appreciation for the volunteers at various volunteer awards ceremonies of cities, regions and events and, on 5th December, celebrate International Volunteer Day. We also reduce the price for event organisers to use our platform whenever a helpers’ party, volunteer award ceremony or a volunteer lounge is held.

The Swiss Volunteers platform is web-based and has a responsive web design for all end devices. Only an Internet connection and a browser are needed to use it; it’s not necessary to install a program. A login gives access to several different roles (event organiser, volunteer, etc.). In addition, the Swiss Volunteers platform has an impressively user-friendly interface. Data security is very important to Swiss Volunteers. That is why the latest data protection laws (GDPR Compliance) are implemented and all data is deposited at a server location in Switzerland with a high level of data security.

Use the whole range of services from Swiss Volunteers at a very good price.

The Swiss Volunteers platform can be used from CHF 300.–, depending on the event. The costs consist of a basic sum of CHF 1000.– and a variable sum depending on the number of persons (volunteers and others) included in the admin. The resulting sum can be reduced by up to 70% by communication measures carried out by the organiser. The measures, which are compiled in a broad and varied catalogue and which you are free to select, include, for example, a helpers’ party and a social media post.

For organizations that order several events in the same calendar year, Swiss Volunteers offers a quantity discount. From the third event order of an organization, there is a discount on the base price.
